Proceeds benefit thousands of people in Fairfield County battling cancer. Money is raised to fund prevention, screening, support programs and direct financial assistance to patients. Participants this year come from across Connecticut, surrounding states and as far away as North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

When:
Saturday, August 6, 2022

Where:
Begins at Danford’s Marina, Port Jefferson, NY
Ends at Captain’s Cove Marina

Members of the public are invited to come to Captain’s Cove and cheer the swimmers on as they finish this unique event. The fastest swimmers are expected to start to cross the finish line at approximately 2:30 pm, depending on the weather. Things will heat up after 4:00 pm when the bulk of the swimmers will finish. An awards ceremony for all the swimmers and boat captains will take place at approximately 7:00 pm after all the swimmers have finished.

The maritime amusement center will be alive with music, entertainment, and vendor booths. Boardwalk shops and restaurant will be open, too.
