Alex’s Lemonade Stand Founder visits Assumption Catholic School

FAIRFIELD—Liz Scott, founder of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and mother of Alex who passed away at 8 years old of childhood cancer came to Assumption Catholic School today for an assembly and to receive a check for $10,000 raised by our 2nd graders past and present alongside teacher, Ms. Andrade in their school-wide monthly lemonade stand.

Mrs. Scott presented Assumption with the Top School Fundraiser Award for 2019!

Service for others is a long-standing tradition for Assumption Catholic School and they are very proud to partner with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
