Students Raise Awareness for Long Island Sound

STRATFORD—Students at St. Mark School in Stratford, grades kindergarten through sixth, have begun preparations for their entries into the New England Science and Sailing (NESS), 2018 Long Island Sound drawing contest. Winners of the contest will get their drawing published in the annual NESS “Long Island Sound & Its Watershed” calendar sponsored by the Dominion Foundation.

Notre Dame Students Hold Memorial for Parkland Shooting Victims

FAIRFIELD—On Wednesday, February 21, Notre Dame High School in Fairfield observed the one week anniversary of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. During Advisory, students had the opportunity to reflect and share their thoughts about the tragedy and discuss ways in which Notre Dame could continue to make their community safer each day.
