A Reflection of Gratitude

A Reflection of Gratitude

My dear friends in Christ,

It has been five years since the Holy Father gave me the great privilege of being your shepherd and serving as Bishop of Bridgeport. These have been years of great blessings for me, as you and I have made progress in working together and moving the diocese forward. As I look back, my heart is filled with gratitude. We have done much together and we have much to celebrate.

I hope you will take a minute to watch this video, “A Reflection of Gratitude,” which offers my thanks for all that you have done over the past five years since I have served as your Bishop.

We have so much to be proud of as the good works of the Synod continue to change and renew our diocese. The beautiful music of our diocesan youth choir, the charitable works of the Catholic Service Corps, and the ongoing effort to make our parishes more welcoming communities are bearing fruit every day.

In that spirit, I also am pleased to offer this challenge: now is time to move forward, to evangelize, to accompany others in their journey of faith in the spirit of Pope Francis, and to renew the Church for next generation. It is within our reach if we move forward in faith.

-Bishop Frank
