WESTPORT—SHU Journey, a six-day residential summer experience of faith education, self-discovery and enjoyment for high school students, is set to run from Sunday June 24 to Friday June 29 on the Sacred Heart University campus in Fairfield.
This conference is hosted each summer by Sacred Heart University Summer Theology Institute in partnership with the Leadership Institute of the Diocese of Bridgeport.

CHRISM MASS—One of the most beautiful and solemn liturgies of the year, the Chrism Mass celebrates the anniversary of that day the when Christ bestowed the Priesthood on the Church. At the yearly Chrism Mass, priests renew their priestly promises and the bishop blesses the sacramental oils that are used throughout the year in parishes and at ordinations.
For the last three weeks, we have considered the meaning and purpose of human suffering to the individual.
During the second half of our series, we reflect on how suffering calls for a response from the human community.
