STRATFORD—The first and fourth grade students at St. Mark School worked together to make “bags of love” for the elderly at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home in Stratford. The students filled each bag with candy and sweets and included in each a Scripture reading about love. The bags were distributed to nursing home residents in time for Valentine’s Day.

In a celebration of the true meaning of the Christmas season, nearly 500 students from All Saints Catholic School recently submitted entries in the Knights of Columbus’ annual Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest.
