Cathedral Parish to mark feast day with celebration

BRIDGEPORT—Wednesday, August 28 marks the Feast of St. Augustine and our very own Cathedral Parish of St. Augustine will be celebrating their feast day in a special way.

This Saturday, August 24, there will be something for everyone—vendors, live entertainment with bands and dance performances, spray paint artists, games and bounce houses. Food trucks will feature American, Jamaican, Italian and Spanish cuisines, as well as beer and wine.

The Bridgeport fire and police departments will be providing an awesome touch-a-truck display, along with AMR Ambulance, Bud’s Towing, R. Stone, J. Rod trucking and more! AMR Ambulance will also be providing hands-on CPR displays.

As a way to bring the community together, all alumni of St. Augustine school are welcome to come reunite with their classmates and tour the school. Tours will be running at both 1 and 4 pm.

Catering will be provided by Vazzano’s Family of Restaurants, Catamount Catering and Knights of Columbus Park City Council. Vendor spots are available for only $25 and sponsorship is still available for those interested.

The day of fun will kick off at 11 am and last until 7 pm.

(For more information or to register to be a vendor, call the Cathedral Office at: 203.368.6777.)
