Catholic Academy of Stamford Participates in Spelling Bee, Catholic Schools Week Activities

STAMFORD—On Tuesday, January 29 a group of students from the Catholic Academy of Stamford visited a seventh-grade class to teach a fun, interactive lesson to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. They had the opportunity to discuss and learn about their faith in a creative way. Thank you to Bella Martinez, Patrick Carlon, Brenna Calle, Randy Urquizo and Fiona Willette for taking part.

Fourth and fifth-grade students also recently participated in a spelling bee. The winner of the fourth-grade spelling bee was Abigail Bober and the alternate winner was Ashley Lenhart. The winner of the fifth-grade spelling bee was Addison Bolton and the alternate winner was Sienna McKinney.

Congratulations to all of the winners!

Abigail and Addison will represent The Catholic Academy of Stamford in the Knights of Columbus Catholic School Regional Spelling Bee, which will take place in February or March of 2019. Good luck to Abigail and Addison!
