Since 1870, St. John Cemetery serves the communities of Darien and Stamford, Connecticut. The cemetery's peaceful and reflective 60 acres are conveniently located between the Merritt Parkway and the Post Road/I-95, The cemetery is a popular walking area with area residents and leashed dogs are now permitted.

St John CemeterySt. John Cemetery is the final resting for some notable residents including Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Homer Lee Wise and sports stars Andy Robustelli, Fred Dugan and Mike Sandlock. There are many more stories to be discovered during your walk through the cemetery so please stop by the office for a map of the grounds. Also, please note that pets are now permitted to join you provided they are on a leash and cleaned up after.
