FAIRFIELD—Diocesan youth groups gathered yesterday morning at St St. Pius X Church in Fairfield to depart for the regional high school conference, Steubenville NYC, hosted by Franciscan University of Steubenville and Life Teen.
Teens from St. Pius X, St. Jude Parish in Monroe, and St. Peter’s Parish in Bridgeport launched their journey with prayer to prepare spiritually before heading off to the three-day conference at St. John’s University, in Queens, New York.
Among those attending is diocesan communications office artist and writer Priscilla Mahar of St. Ann Parish in Bridgeport who will be reporting on the event.
Youth groups from all over the Diocese of Bridgeport will be attending Steubenville NYC this weekend.
