Distractology comes to Trinity Catholic for a second year.

STAMFORD—Funded by the Arbella Insurance Foundation and hosted by Bearingstar Insurance, Distractology is a mobile stimulator experience designed to show new drivers exactly how dangerous it is to text and drive. New drivers will get firsthand experience of how distractions interfere with their ability to react on the road, see hidden hazards and avoid accidents while safely behind the wheel of a driving simulator.

It’s real, it’s useful and it’s memorable. The Foundation and Bearingstar are committed to stopping the problem of teens dying behind the wheel because of texting and driving. Trinity Catholic High School students with a learners permit and/or their license can sign up for a 45-minute session. Each session has an instructor and can accommodate two students. The sessions navigate the students through distractions while driving, all via computer simulation. Students will have the chance to sign up for their 45-minute session between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 7th through Friday, May 11th.
