Farmers Market Returns to St. Ann Parish Field

BLACK ROCK, BRIDGEPORT– Black Rock Day weekend kicked off with the 4th Annual Black Rock Farmers Market on Saturday June 10, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at St. Ann Parish Field, 481 Brewster Street.

The Farmers Market is back for the 2017 season with some old favorites and a whole slew of new farmers, food vendors, and artisans! Opening Day tunes were provided by Botanica Blue.

Here’s what we have to look forward to this year:

  • Fresh, local produce from Aradia Farms, Sweet Acre Farm, Creative Shepherd Farm, Sport Hill Farm, Fort Hill Farm, Simpaug Farm, Speckled Rooster & Little River Farm.
  • Unique new vendors including a kombucha stand, weekly knife sharpening and so many more!
  • Monthly food demos using delish in-season produce
  • Donation-based yoga
  • Weekly exhibits from local artists featured on the Bridgeport Art Trail
  • Live music every week from local musicians

“We are a welcoming Catholic community called by God to live out the message of Christ in love and service to all people,” says Fr. Peter Lynch, Pastor.
