Food Drive fills pantry

NEWTOWN—At the beginning of May, St. Rose School’s National Junior Honor Society held a food drive for the Faith Food Pantry. They placed boxes in all K-8 classrooms, encouraging students and families to support this good cause. As an extra incentive, Sister Colleen offered a pizza party to the class who collected the most items. Kindergarten won!

On Friday, NJHS students collected the overflowing bags and boxes from each classroom and brought them to the gathering hall, where the Knights of Columbus picked them up and carried them to the Faith Food Pantry.
