BROOKFIELD— This past month, first and seventh graders at St. Joseph School Brookfield, under the guidance of their teachers, Jeanne Vitetta (grade 1) and Kathleen Benzing (grade 7), donated items for and put together Easter goody bags to be distributed at Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Danbury after Easter dinner.
A card was attached to each goody bag with a message saying “With God, all things are possible. Bless you this wonderful Easter Day!”
The SJSB students are hopeful that their act of kindness will uplift others, remind them of God’s presence in their lives, and make their Easter extra special.
