BRIDGEPORT—Faith Formation teacher, writer and presenter Susan Kay of Sadlier Religious will deliver a keynote on “Friendship” at the DRE/CRE Kick-Off Gathering set for August 28, in Queen of Saints Hall of the Catholic Center.
The morning will began with a welcome and breakfast at 8:30. Programs will run from 9 am to 2 pm.
“Becoming someone’s friend allows us to discover the truth of another person while plumbing the depths of our own life. A true friend is a pathway to holiness. Friendship with Jesus Christ is a friendship like no other, bringing us closer and deeper into the love of God. The joy of being evangelizers and catechists is the fruit of friendship with Christ.,” says Kay.
