MONROE—The Rev. James McCarten Assembly 119 of the Knights of Columbus on October 15 assisted Connecticut District Master Allyn Temple in hosting the fall 2017 4th Degree Exemplification.
During the exemplification 63 third Degree Knights received the honor of the Order’s highest degree at St. Jude Parish in Monroe.
In the dinner following the ceremony Msgr. John B. Sabia, pastor emeritus of St. Jude and the former Faithful Friar of Assembly 119, was honored and thanked for his many years of service to the Assembly.
Sir Knights from around the state joined the new Sir Knights for a formal dinner at the Inn at Villa Bianca.
