Project Rachael announces Fall Schedule

BRIDGEPORT—Maureen Cardiello, coordinator of Project Rachael, the diocesan post-abortion healing ministry, has announced the Fall schedule of upcoming Project Rachael and Entering Canaan healing events including a new Sibling Retreat:

Afternoon of Prayerful Remembrance and Intercession – September 30, 2017

Men’s Day of Healing – October 7, 2017

Women’s Day of Healing – October 7, 2017

Women’s Hope and Healing Weekend (this is closed group for those who have attended a Day of Healing) – November 10-12, 2017

Cardiello said the new Siblings Retreat is open to anyone who has lost a sibling to abortion.

“Our message is that you are not alone. There are countless people who have lost a sibling to abortion.”

Project Rachel offers compassionate care to those who have experienced emotional and or spiritual pain after an abortion.

“We offer a comprehensive model of support through day and weekend retreats and monthly gatherings. In addition, we offer referrals to pastoral and professional counseling services to support women in the healing process.
