Rain Down: Stamford Youth Rally

STAMFORD-RAIN DOWN! Is a celebration of the Holy Spirit who animates, guides, forms and transforms us! Started in 2015 by Fathers Bert Pinciaro and Joseph Gill, RAIN DOWN has grown from 60 youth from four Parishes to 140 youth from six parishes in 2017. This October, with the backing and support of the Diocesan Leadership Institute and Catholic Service Corps RAIN DOWN is expanding its offerings and inviting youth from across the Diocese.

In addition to the Key Note address by renowned speaker and musician Tony Melendez, the RAIN DOWN Event includes Sunday Mass, community building activities, a service project (we hope to top last year’s completion of over 200 “Boxes of Joy”), food, games, and Eucharistic Adoration. Numerous Priests from around the Diocese will also be available to celebrate God’s love and mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Registration will be available soon through the Diocesan website. Admission is $10.00 and an openness to the Holy Spirit’s awesome ability bring joy and purpose to our lives!

Please mark your calendars for October 28, 2018 (2:00-8:30pm) and plan to join us for RAIN DOWN! Space is limited to 200 participants and 75 spots are already reserved.

More information will be available soon. In the meantime, if you have questions you can contact Fr. Bert at 203.322.1562 or at the St. Cecilia website stceciliastamford.org
