NORWALK- Students in All Saints Catholic School in Norwalk made their Facebook Live debut when Anna Zap, cohost of the Anna and Raven Show on Star 99.9 Radio, visited last week.
The purpose of the visit and ensuing live stream was to promote the upcoming Catholic Schools Week, which runs from January 28th through February 3rd.
Students from the fourth grade joined Ms. Zap on the livestream to talk about the school’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Program, highlighting the new and exciting innovations available to all students at the school. Students shared work they’ve done with Flight Simulators, Robotics, and foreign languages. Throughout the broadcast, the students shared their love for their school and all of the activities they take part in.
Star 99.9 Radio also made a visit to St. Andrew Academy in Bridgeport, visiting one of the school’s second grade class. Viewers of the livestream were treated to a live look in of a class lesson on Martin Luther King Jr, as well as personal testimony from the students about their school.
Zap and Star 99.9 will visit the Catholic Academy of Stamford on Tuesday, broadcasting their visit live on their Facebook page.
