TRUMBULL—The Social Justice and Charitable Outreach group at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Trumbull recently hosted a hat, coat and sweater drive to benefit St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Blessed Sacrament Parish and The Thomas Merton House in Bridgeport.
A total of 108 bags were donated by parishioners and the Nichols community.
“We have also helped several of our own St. Catherine of Siena parishioners in need. Father Skip from Blessed Sacrament and Deacon Dave from St. Charles send you their deepest appreciation,” wrote Erik Vogel, coordinator for Social Justice and Charitable Outreach, in a recent newsletter.
