St. Paul Church to host MET Opera Orchestra Quintet to benefit seminarians

GREENWICH—St. Paul Roman Catholic Church will host a special performance by the MET Opera Orchestra String Quintet on June 18 from 6 to 8:30 pm to benefit the Legion of Christ College of Humanities & Novitiate in Cheshire, where 76 young men are in formation for the priesthood.

The evening, titled, “Cocktails, Concert & The Legionaries of Christ,” will include a wine and appetizer hour, followed by a performance by the quintet from the MET Orchestra Musicians, according to Hope Hirshorn, Director of Regnum Christi NY Tri-State and member of St. Paul’s Church.

“The program will wrap up with an inspirational talk by Father Eric Nielsen, LC and Father Mark Haydu, LC,” Hirshorn said.

All proceeds will benefit the Legion of Christ College of Humanities & Novitiate, she said. Seating is limited at the church on 84 Sherwood Avenue, Greenwich. For more information and to register or make a donation, visit www.regnumchristinyctnj.org/spring-concert/.
