Steven Virgadamo Announced as Head of School for All Saints

Dear All Saints Catholic School Community:

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Mr. Steven Virgadamo has been appointed the first Head of School for All Saints Catholic School. Steve is an extraordinary Catholic school executive who has worked with over 6,000 Catholic schools in more than 120 dioceses. He holds the honor of being the recipient of the National Catholic Education Association Presidents Award for lifetime contributions to advancing the mission of Catholic schools. When presenting the award, the NCEA President stated that Steve has been one of the most influential individuals in the past 25 years of Catholic education. Steve resides in Guilford Connecticut and said: “I am looking forward to coming home and collaborating with the All Saints Administration, Staff and parents to advance the mission of All Saints in the community.”

We are thrilled that he has accepted the position and we are excited to welcome him to the All Saints community. We believe that Steve will be a highly competent and confident steward of All Saints; his knowledge of Catholic school formation, strong interpersonal skills, and intentional, values-driven leadership style are a strong match for All Saints. He is known as a transparent leader with strong listening skills. His references routinely describe him as faithful, dynamic, trustworthy, supportive, collaborative, perceptive, genuine, and well-respected.

Bishop Caggiano and I would like to extend our gratitude to members of the Search Committee. This team did a tremendous amount of work in a very short span of time, and they were thoughtful, good-humored, and dedicated throughout the many phases of the work We are so appreciative of their commitment to this important work and their facilitation of a process that yielded such wonderful results.

In the weeks ahead, we will work to form transition plans with Steven. We know he is excited to meet the All Saints community and begin to collaborate with Mrs. Dunn and the faculty and staff. In the coming days, the school will inform you of the upcoming events during which you can meet Mr. Virgadamo.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Steven and in asking Our Lady to shower him and the entire All Saints Catholic School community with Her blessings.

Sincerly,

Superintendent of Schools
