Trackside Teen Center and Our Lady of Fatima Academy to host The 1st Annual Wilton Monster Mash

WILTON—The 1st Annual Wilton Monster Mash will take place on Saturday, October 26, from 7-11 pm at the Trackside Teen Center in Wilton. This is a 21-and-over event, open to the public, featuring food, open beer and wine bar, and the live music of Wilton’s premier surf and ska band, One Bad Oyster!  A costume contest with exciting prizes will add to the festivities.

The event is co-hosted by Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Academy and Trackside, The Teen Center of Wilton. Proceeds from the event will benefit both organizations. OLFCA board members Liz Halpin and Mara Fleming are leading the event coordination with Trackside’s Cindy Moser, John Priest and Lori Fields. Mara noted, “As a Fatima parent, it’s easy for me to see what a great job both our school family and larger Wilton community do for our young ones come Halloween! I think it’s about time that the young at heart get to have a little bit of spooky fun for themselves! We just want to throw a big party for all of our neighbors here in Wilton, Norwalk and the Fairfield County area!”  Liz Halpin added,  “We are beyond excited to be partnering with Trackside Teen Center for the first time. Trackside has done so much for families in this community and we are proud to team up with them.”

Sponsorships are still available at a variety of levels. Donations such as merchandise and gift certificates from local businesses or individuals are also being sought for prizes. All sponsors will receive recognition in signage and event materials, including those distributed to the entire school community. Sponsors should contact Cindy Moser (cindy@trackside.org).

(Tickets are $65 (which includes admission, food, open beer/wine bar and entry to the costume contest) and can be purchased online at www.trackside.org/monstermash. Tickets are limited and selling quickly.)
