BRIDGEPORT— Here’s a first look at the new Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA) video for 2018.
Joy in Christ, Our Gift to Share is the theme of the video and the campaign, which kicks off in February.
The 2018 video explains and showcases a broad range of ministries and services supported by very generous donors every year, allowing Bishop Caggiano, priests, staff and volunteers to bring the Gospel of Christ and the needed services to thousands of people.
The video was produced by Frontline Productions of Glastonbury in association with the diocesan development office. Pam Rittman, Director of the Annual Catholic Appeal, coordinated the project that began shooting in early autumn and includes locations throughout Fairfield County.
This year’s theme represents Bishop’s Caggiano’s emphasis on evangelizing catechesis and the joy of the good news that is the Gospel. The video celebrates the service and charity at work throughout the diocese and the overall spirit of renewal in the local Church.
The ACA campaign will be formally launched on Education weekend, January 20 and 21. Pastors and ACA parish chairs will highlight the ministries and programs that are supported by the Appeal at each Mass.
