Guild of the Most Blessed Sacrament

The Guild of the Most Blessed Sacrament is a community of priests, deacons, and the laity that seek to deepen their personal holiness by developing a Eucharistic spirituality by devoting themselves to the practice of Eucharistic adoration and drawing others to prayer before the True Presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

  • Deepen the personal holiness of each member by fostering a Eucharistic Spirituality by deepening reverence for the Blessed Sacrament through prayer and adoration
  • Fostering ongoing spiritual renewal and fraternal bonds among its members
  • Deepening spiritual communion among priests, among deacons and their spouses, and among the lay faithful within the Diocese of Bridgeport
  • Soliciting from its members works of charity and specific acts of reparation for the sins — past and present — committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus
  • Bringing life, knowledge, love and reverence of the Blessed Sacrament to the secular world, especially to those Catholics who struggle with belief in the Real Presence
