July 16, 2026 – The Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools has launched a redesigned website to provide an enhanced digital experience for families, educators, principals, board members and school communities.

Jen Hanley, community engagement specialist, said the new site, which required months of planning, development and collaboration, introduces a state-of-the-art platform designed to improve accessibility, streamline navigation and provide users with easier access to important information and resources.

“The new website features a refreshed design, updated content and a more user-friendly layout,”  Hanley said, “and it reflects the continued commitment of the Office of the Superintendent of Schools to support Catholic education and strengthen communication across all diocesan schools.”

Visitors are encouraged to explore the site, where they will find updated pages, easier navigation, and features for diocesan school communities. To view the site, click here: www.DOBCatholicSchools.org

“Catholic education is one of the greatest gifts that the Church has to offer,” said Father Christopher J. Ford, PhD, episcopal vicar for education and formation. “Our new website puts a fresh face on how we are able to accompany children and their families during their educational journey, highlighting the outstanding communities of faith and learning that our schools are and can be.”

Patrice Kopas, assistant superintendent of schools, said: “The Office of Superintendent of Schools needed a new look to reflect all the innovative and collaborative work that our office has embarked upon. We are excited to introduce the new design to the Diocese of Bridgeport.”

As part of the launch, dedicated portals are available for principals, teachers and board members, which will provide each group with streamlined access to important resources and information. Existing portal passwords have remained the same to ensure a smooth and convenient transition for all users, Hanley said.

New portal features are also available, including:

Principal Portal: A Google Calendar that principals can add directly to their own calendars, providing easy access to upcoming Office of the Superintendent of Schools (OSS) events and important dates.

All Portals: An Access Folders link that connects users directly to Google Drive, where important documents, resources and information are stored for convenient access.
