The Cathedral Parish warmly invites you to the Diocese’s annual Rite of Election at St. Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Bishop Caggiano will preside at the 4:00 PM liturgy.
The Rite of Election is a major Catholic liturgical celebration held at the beginning of Lent when the Church formally recognizes catechumens who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of Initiation at Easter, as well as other candidates who are entering the Catholic Church from other Christian faith denominations.
