The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation is where sins committed after Baptism are forgiven. It heals the soul, restoring it to grace and peace with God, and strenghens the will to avoid future sin. The soul receives absolution, which cleanses it from the stain of sin and restores its relationship with God.
