Fairfield County Catholic

Since its first issue was published in January 1984, the monthly Fairfield County Catholic newspaper has been a beloved mainstay in the Diocese of Bridgeport's communications operations. Distributed to nearly 100,000 homes per month, it is the widest-circulating newspaper in the state of Connecticut.

In its lifetime, Fairfield County Catholic's reporting has encompassed three popes, four diocesan bishops and countless stories of standout members of the local Catholic community, non-profits, parish initiatives and diocesan moments of history.

Fairfield County Catholic publishes 11 issues per year (one per month with a combined July/August summer issue).

The Bridge

The Bridge is the Diocese's newsletter that is published monthly both on this website and e-mailed to subscribers.
