Exchange Club of Norwalk to honor ‘community pillars’

NORWALK—The Exchange Club of Norwalk will host its second annual Pillars of the Community Recognition Dinner at 6 pm on Saturday, February 24 at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center.

The Exchange Club will be honoring the achievements of everyday citizens and organizations that make a difference in the community. The honorees have devoted their time, expertise, and energy to making the community stronger and improving the lives of citizens.

The 2018 Pillars of the Community are: (Pillar of Education) Sister Catherine Sheehy and Sister Sally Norcross, All Saints Catholic School; (Pillar of Faith) The Chorister Program of Seabury Academy of Music & the Arts and The Social Justice and Outreach Team Tutoring Program at St. Paul’s on the Green Episcopal Church; (Pillar of Public Service) American Legion Frank C. Godfrey Post 12; (Pillar of Business) Thomas Devine, president, Devine Brothers, Inc.; (Pillar of Lifetime Achievement) Curtis O. Law, executive director, Norwalk Housing Authority.
