Foundations in Education announces 2024 Gala committee chairs

BRIDGEPORT—Foundations in Education (FIE) is pleased to announce co-chairs Jennifer St. Victor-de Pinho of Ridgefield and Allison Reiling of Fairfield will lead the Foundations in Education’s 2024 Gala.

The Gala will be held at Woodway Country Club in Darien on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Proceeds from the Gala benefit Foundations in Education in their mission to support tuition assistance for low-income children and innovation in the classroom.

St. Victor-de Pinho, a returning Gala Committee chair and a former member of the Core Management Team at Bridgewater Associates in Westport, joined Foundations in Education’s Board of Trustees in February 2020. Prior to her work with Bridgewater, St. Victor-de Pinho served as the Tax Director for BD (Mergers and Acquisitions) at GE Capital Americas and was Tax Counsel at UBS AG for many years after initially starting her career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom. She earned her undergraduate degree from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C. and her masters in tax law from New York University. She has volunteered on the Foundations in Education Gala Committee since 2018. St. Victor-de Pinho serves as Audit Committee Chair for FIE and also for St. Andrew’s Society.

Reiling is the Executive Director of the Lautenbach Family Foundation where she manages over 35 scholarships and relationships with various educational institutions. Additionally, Reiling is a part of the School Volunteer Association in Bridgeport tutoring elementary school children. She has been actively involved in her children’s schools. Prior to her current role, Reiling earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from Providence College. After college, Reiling worked at IBM in various HR roles, with her most recent role being within the HR Finance division.

St. Victor-de Pinho and Reiling are joined on the Gala Committee with Barbara Ripp of Greenwich, Lisa Ferraro Martino of New Canaan and Michele Mitola and Jody Myers of Fairfield. The 2024 Gala will see the return of famed auctioneer Bobby D of Inspire Hearts Fundraising, who helped FIE raise nearly $1.37 million last year. Proceeds will support the mission of FIE, including tuition assistance through the Bishop’s Scholarship Fund as well as Innovation and Leadership Grants for teachers and administrators.
