In Gratitude – Our Wishes for a Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year

Thanks to the generosity of the Catholic community in Fairfield County, our hearts have been filled with joy. There have been so many unexpected challenges brought on by the pandemic, and we are humbled to see the dedication of the people who volunteer and support the many ministries of the diocese.

In 2020, you helped us accomplish the work of the Gospel in Fairfield County:

  • Provided over 1,000,000 meals to those in need.
  • Funded over 1,000 scholarships for our children to be able to attend our excellent Catholic Schools.
  • Enabled our churches to remain open, offering a safe environment; and helping us to offer streamed Masses for viewing at home.
  • Please visit www.bridgeportdiocese.org for additional stories illustrating what you have helped us accomplish.

As Mother Teresa of Calcutta taught us, “God gives us things to share; God doesn’t give us things to hold.” Come into our hearts and homes this Christmas, Lord Jesus, making us people of joyful generosity and gratitude.

Please know how grateful we are for your generosity and prayerful support. We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed and healthy New Year.
