BRIDGEPORT—Parishioners of St. Margaret Shrine gathered yesterday afternoon at 2 pm for the Stations of the Cross and Benediction.

Originally schedule as an outdoor Station on the grounds of the Shrine, the event was moved inside because of the cold and windy weather.

Msgr. J. Peter Cullen, retired Pastor of St. Michael Parish in Greenwich, officiated at the ceremony. The service and an Easter Egg hunt for children on Saturday were sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

St. Margaret Shrine is a diocesan shrine located in the North End of Bridgeport. It is open to all who wish to visit, pray and enjoy the beautiful outdoor shrines as well as the daily celebration of Mass in the chapel. The outdoors shrine and grottoes are open throughout the year. The grounds also include a St. Anthony Chapel, an All Saints Chapel, and a Veterans Memorial.
