BRIDGEPORT—In this video, Bishop Frank Caggiano reflects compares prayer to cooking and suggests a “recipe” to enrich our prayer life.
“Since I was a little boy, my mother always made it a point to teach my sister and I how to cook. Cooking as an art demands the right ingredients, a good recipe, patience, and hard work. When we reflect on prayer, it is somewhat the same thing. Prayer demands work, and time, and having the right ingredients,” he says.
