Trinity Catholic joins in coat drive

STAMFORD—Trinity Catholic High School has partnered with Student Support Services at Stamford Public Schools Collaborative on a community service project. A private donor has given funds to Student Support Services to purchase 500 new coats.

The TCHS students from the National Honor Society and the Student Council have aided in sorting and packaging the coats, which will then be distributed to high school students throughout the community. Trinity Catholic supports multiple community initiatives each year, in which students give over 10,000 hours of service. Community involvement in projects such as this coat drive support the mission of Catholic education, teaching students that an active faith calls them to live as positive Christian witnesses and responsible citizens in service to God and others.
