“An Outpouring of Grace”

AN OUTPOURING OF GRACE– Last week thousands throughout the diocese turned out to participate in the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage as the “Seton” route took it through the diocese of Bridgeport on the way to Indianapolis this summer. It was a moment of great reverence, beauty and public faithfulness as the procession passed through familiar roads, streets and neighborhoods in Fairfield County.

We are pleased to share this beautiful Eucharistic Procession video from Saint Cecilia Church to St. Gabriel Church in Stamford. Bishop Frank J. Caggiano celebrated a special School Mass for Catholic Academy of Stamford, and then led the procession to the nearby St. Gabriel Church.

The overnight stop at St. Cecilia- St. Gabriel Parish began on Tuesday May 22, with an hour of Eucharistic Adoration at 8pm, followed by an hour of praise & worship music with a reflection by Fr. Justin Cinnante on the healing power of the Eucharist. The evening also included a Guided meditation and Office of Readings, by Fr. John Connaughton, pastor of St. Cecilia-St. Gabriel Parish. The overnight Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament led to the Wednesday morning Mass celebrated by Bishop Caggiano followed by the Eucharistic Procession. Special thanks to Catholic Academy of Stamford for producing this beautiful video.
