Bishop’s Ascension Thursday Reflection on “Faith and Doubt”

BRIDGEPORT—“Submitting our mind, heart and will to God and responding to his presence in our lives is the most precious gift we have. But there are times in our life when we doubt,” Bishop Frank Caggiano says in this Ascension Thursday reflection.

In this video, which is offered as part of The Face of Prayer campaign, the bishop acknowledges that human suffering and violence around the globe may cause someone to doubt the existence of God, but he reassures us that prayer brings us into the presence of the Lord. He encourages all believers to “nourish the gift of faith” in their own lives.
