TRUMBULL—The major relic of St. Anthony of Padua will be coming to St. Theresa Church in Trumbull on Friday, June 9. The public is invited to the Masses and the hours of veneration for this popular saint.

Masses will be at 12 noon and 5:30 pm. Veneration of St. Anthony’s relic continues all afternoon, then again after the 5:30 Mass until 9:00 pm.

FAIRFIELD, Conn.—Sacred Heart University has renamed alumnus Brian Hamilton ’87 of Milford to its board of trustees, the University’s top governing body.

Hamilton is founder and chairman of Sageworks, a financial information company with offices in Raleigh, N.C., and New York City. DANBURY—Immaculate High School junior and Newtown resident Albert “A.J.” Vitiello received a National Medal in Flash Fiction from the 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, placing him in the top one percent of all submissions. Out of 330,000 submissions from students in grades 7-12, only 2,736 received National Medals. He will be honored by Scholastic at a special ceremony in June at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
